About Spique, the Blog

I needed to laugh. I needed encouragement. I sat in the presence of God and took inventory of my life. I have been through so much in my short time here on earth and I realize that you have too. We go through things, and we get through them. It's not an easy process and it may not even be a fast process. But God's joy is eternal. I started appreciating even the little things in life. So many times, I discounted my blessings because I attempted to measure them as "big" or "small" - allowing the small ones to pass me by with little acknowledgment.

I began to understand that all blessings are kisses from heaven. I happen to believe laughter is one of those little kisses. This blog exists as a platform for me to share my journey, some laughter, encouragement, hope, and happiness.

I don't promise that every post will be flowers and sprinkles. But I can promise that each post will be heartfelt, relevant, and honest. I'm not ashamed of my story. I'm here for His glory.

So glad my tears have turned into laughter.

A Little About Me:

1. I love Jesus.

2. I'm the "figure-it-out-as-we-go" mama of two very smart children.

3. I haven't quite figured out what I'm doing with my life career-wise. So far, I've been a loan processor, a credit union compliance analyst, a high school English teacher, an esthetician, a network marketing diva, and a proposal writer...none of which make me say "yippeeeeee!" in the morning. Oh but I'm so grateful for this job and this medical insurance. 

4. I enjoy singing - in the shower and in church.

5. I believe that laughter is a great Rx.
